spaces, parking fines and
special privileges for
Student Government of- J
ficials. *
Ginger Greer, a junior
majoring in early childhood .
education* last year accumulated
more than $200 in
parking fines. "I think meter
maids should be more understanding
before they
start ticketing the way they
do. They realize the parking
problem we have at USC, but
they don't let up at all."

She said her mother visited ^
and was ticketed by the time {
she got back to her car. She ,
said a similar incident oc- j
curred when her boyfriend
picked her up.
Greer said most women on t

"It's just not safe," she c
said. "It's not fair for us to r
have to walk clear across \
campus at night by our- l
selves. {
I just left my car at home i
this year because it was too '
much trouble and too ex- i
pensive/' Greer said.
