Committee said he has not ruled
out the possibility of filing a libel
suu against me university.
Philip M Zeltner, an assistant
professor of philosophy, was told
his job would be terminated at the
end of this semester. The
grievance committee, however,
said USC dismissed Zeltner
without proper cause and without
m/ahiatincr his ioh nerformance.
The 33-year-old professor, who
received the 1978 AMOCO Outstanding
Teacher Award, said he
doesn't believe the case is over and
that USC will continue to take
action against he and others going
through the state tenure system.

have no choice but to try and
recoup my damages, because I
would have lost my job unfairly. I
have no immediate plans to do this
right now," he said.

have two points in conflict,"
Borkowskisaid.
BOKKOWSKI ADDED that he
doesn't expect the Zeltner decision
by the grievance committee to
have any affect on the lawsuit USC
has introduced.
"I think it (the decision) will have
very little effect. I think the suit
will stand on its own basis. The
outcome of the lawsuit may well
affect this decision and any other
grievances that are pending,"
Borkowski said.
