Ahoy all floating fish of fun! The 1 st
Annual Co-Rec Innertube Waterpolo
season is officially underway. Last
Wednesday the six teams in the
Wednesday Night League donned
their cans and suits and initiated this
new Co-Rec Sport here at USC. The
three matches that were played
showed that this season of Innertube
H20Polo is going to be fun to watch
as well as play!
All together we had twenty teams
sign up for this new sport. Eight
teams play in the Sunday Afternoon
League, six teams try it on Monday
nights, and the remaining six teams
splash it out on Wednesday evenings.
Each team must have at least seven
players (at least three must be girls),
even though most teams have signod
up well over that minimum number.
Lets' move on to sonae of the ac
tual matches. In a surprise upset wir
over a pre season favorite, "Save the
Whale" sunk NROTC 18-3. Nancy
Memmlaer and Kris Doty shared high
scoring honors by throwing in 3 goalj
apiece (remember, girls get twe

guys only score one point). The Sigma
Alpha Epsilon Valuables dunked the
floating Aqua Nauts, 16-3, while
Edna and Tedna slithered past the
Prunes lj-iu. in the tana and Tedna
Prunes contest, Ed Andrews led the
scoring with six goals, a season high
