The USC baseball team defeated
the Furman Paladins Monday
afternoon by a score of 7-2 to pick
up their fourth victory of the

won his third game of the year
yielding two runs in his 7 2-3 inning
stint on the mound.
"Bill didn't pitch one of his
better games," coach June Raines
said. "He nad a snutoui going inio
the eighth inning, but he threw an
awful lot of pitches (130). He was
throwing strikes most of the day
and he pitched well enough to
