Sex should be a "casual thing,"
the first professional football
player to admit publicly his
homosexuality said Tuesday night
at the Russell House.
Dave Kopay, an ex-Green Bay
Packer who shocked the sports
world when he revealed his
homosexuality in 1975, said personal
relationships are more
important than sex because they
involve touching, loving and
sharing,
IT ISN'T EASY being identified
as a "gay football player," Kopay
said, but he has never regretted
speaking out about his sex life. "I
had to do it. I felt I had everything
to gain."
The subject of homosexuality is
often f ictionalized, but it must be
dealt with, Kopay said. A

Roared." The film will be shown at
7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Minimum
