The Royal Lipizzan Stallions, a
dazzling dance company of
European horses, will perform at
Carolina Coliseum Jan. 29 at 8.

show, as the horses perform two
comedy acts along with miniature
mules and ponies. Strauss waltzes,
Gershwin melodies, country
western tunes and disco beats
provide background music for the
performance. Tickets are on sale
at the Carolina Coliseum box office
for $6.50 and $5.50.
The first community production
of Family Business will be per- I
formed by Workshop Theatre i
beginning Jan. 18 and running
through Jan. 26. Written by
Columbia playwright Dick
Goldberg, Family Business was
produced Off-Broadway in 1978.
The play received rave reviews
from critics like Rex Reed and
Walter Kerr, and it enjoyed a
successful run for over a year.
Tickets are on sale at the
Workshop Theatre box office. For
