uonunuing our discussion on
regional artists from last week, we
now find ourselves at the Columbia
Museum of Art for two shows.
Probably the best known local
artist, Blue Sky, has compiled a
collection of his recent paintings in
a show entitled, Nights. And USC

Lackey have combined efforts in a
photo-essay on minature golf as a
cultural phenomenon.
Blue Sky, best known for his 1975
mural, "Tunnelvision", is cer
tainiy tne most popular and successful
artist on the regional level.
Such popularity is due primarily to
the mural, yet it is something Sky
obviously enjoys and nurtures at
every available opportunity.
His opening for the Nights show,
