Hiring of student security guards
may be delayed about three weeks,
according to Chief Marvin D.
Harrelson, director of security.
"Approximately 40 job vacancies
need to be filled. It takes time
for students to settle in and apply
for the positions," Harrelson said.
Southern. Security, a private
company, is currently filling the
vacancies.
"It's rough to find students
willing to work the hours," said
