As a full-time student at USC, t(
I'm thoroughly disappointed in the U
food service at Russell House. We si
are being served chicken, country
style steak, hard rolls, and the w
same vegetables every day, not to Ci
mention rank tea. We also are ?
getting ripped off in that soft i
drinks are not included in the I
meal. Obviously, ARA Food
Services is making a substantial
profit off soft drinks and milk since
we have to pay 40 cents extra to
purchase them.
The so called "special" is ob
viously an attempt to serve
students less food at no less cost.
Unless you want a chocolate chip
cookie for dessert or a ball of
cottage cheese for your salad, you
have to dig into your already

you can do for your extra money is
a meager helping of jello. If you're
lucky, the jello may have fruit
cocktail in it. It tastes like leftovers
from last year. Also, why is

always turns up again within two
days as baked spaghetti? Makes
you wonder, doesn't it?
An even more intriguing aspect
of ARA Food Services is that
Clemson University's dining
service is also run by ARA, but
with a substantially different deal.
For $1.67, a student can eat as
much as he wants, of anything he
wants, including free ice cream
anytime of the day. Now, it apnpars

The Gamecock Snack Bar is
nothing to brag about either. In
