Archer Green streaked down the middle and
fired in the deciding goal as USC's Yazoo
Lacrosse Club (3-1) edged past previously
unbeaten Hilton Head in a 17-16 sudden-death
overtime thriller.

Yazoo, which trailed the Green Machine 11-7
at halftime, mounted a fierce second half
comeback pulled even for the first time on
Garth Foley's tally with under three minutes
remaining. Two minutes into the first overtime
stanza, Green flung home the dramatic gamewinner.
"The guys really wanted it," remarked
player-coach Mike Maher. "We were a little
