Unfortunately, Drayton Hall,
where the opera will be performed,
is not suited for many of the special
effects. Drayton Hall does not have
the sufficient equipment to handle
the flying machines, so those have
been dropped from the production.
Donald Gray, director and overseer
of the project, says that he will
try to keep the magic atmosphere
of the original performance.
Despite the loss of the flying
machines and some other minor
changes, Gray feels the opera will
still be an enjoyable show.
