The Book Corner, located in the USC
Campus Bookstore, will soon enter its fifth
year of operation.
Under the direction of Mrs. Winifred M.
King, The Book Corner has developed into a
full service bookstore dealing with books on
subjects such as sports, hobbies and crafts
to current and past fiction and those subjects
peculiar to South Carolina.
The Book Corner also carries a
representative selection of books published

King said a section of current fiction
published in foreign languages was recently
organized and the store is in the process of
starting an out-of-print search service for
books, at a small fee to students.
According to King, ail books are sold at
publishers list price. There is a constant sale

The Book Comer is designed mainly for
students, King said, and the staff is always
willing to assist students in any way possible
and is always happy to hear student
recommendations and ideas.
King said the store will gladly order any

said.
She said the store has accomplished a
lot in the past and hopes to do even more in
the future for the benefit of the students and
the university community.
