"It's Alive 2" is the kind of film
that's best forgotten as soon as you
leave the theatre. If you even begin
iu mimyzc it, you realize wnat a
crummy spectacle it is ... which is
odd, considering you probably
enjoyed watching all 91 minutes of
it.
The man behind the film,
producer-director-writer Larry
Cohen has assembled much of the
"It's Alive" technical crew as well
as most of the surviving cast
members. While this may not ake
the sequel any better, it does make
it more easily identifiable with the
first Dieturft

It's been a long time since
students have had more fun at a
Union-sponsored event than they
did Friday night. All who attended

a job well-done.

as per the original, Cohen
doesn't show a great deal of the
murderous infants nor explain
exactly how they came into being
But whatever it was that got into
the veins of the first mother is nov
spreading throughout the country
and the babies are being bori
everywhere from Atlanta t<
Seattle, threatening the surviva
(not to mention the sanity) of al
mankind.
WHILE THIS IS all a lot o
foolishness, Cohen makes it seen
less so by drawing excellen
performances (given the material
from the two principals, Frederi*
Forrest and Kathleen Lloyd.
