"We are open to anyone who
agrees with our basic philosophy
that every man has a right to make
his own future," said Curtis Loftis
of the College Republicans.
The College Republicans at USC
are a group of about 30 students
who support the Republican
national and local tickets, according
to Loftis, who is also an SG
senator.

several months prior to an election,
in contrast to the Young
Democrats, a strong organization
on southern campuses.
"The Young Democrats are
more visible," Loftis said. "There

The major difference between
Republican and Democratic
student organizations, according to
Loftis, is that Republicans are
more conservative than
Democrats.
