Outstanding USC students will
have an opportunity to compete for
the Federal Summer Intern
Program.
The program is designed for
students who are active in on- and
off-campus functions while
exhibiting academic excellence.
The purpose of this program is to
provide these students with an
opportunity to work in a federal
agency.
Jobs vary with the agency, but
among this year's requests are
writers, mathematicians and
statisticians, said Smith Parrish,
graduate assistant in the Career
Planning and Placement Office.
Last year 763 students from 285
major colleges and universities
were accepted to participate in the
internship program, Parrish said.
