To the Editor:
As a student not involved in
Campus Crusade for Christ, I
would like to respond to the
letter to the editor February 13
concerning Andre Kole's
pertormance in the Russell
House Ballroom. For the
record, Andre Kole is an
illusionist and does not claim to
be a magician. In fact, he informs
the audience that he
does not have any supernatural
powers and warns against

We find it both amusing and
ironic that in the same issue

headline bemoans "Carolina

exactly what he was going to
do. Andre explicitly explained
the spiritual nature of the
second half of the program. An
intermission was provided so
that those not interested or
those offended by this subject
could leave.
In conclusion, Andre Kole is
a Christian who shares his
relationship with Jesus
through his ability as an
illusionist. The performance
was executed in a very
professional manner. I personally
do not feel I was misled
by the pre-show publicity or
the show itself.
