Position changes is the major
story in this week's intramural
basketball poll. Only number one
and two-ranked Kappa Alpha and
mpna jfni Aipnadid not move in the
poll.
Number three AFRO was upset
by Newman Tuesday night behind
the 17 point performance of former
Physical Education major Eddie
Elkins. AFRO dropped from the
undefeated ranks and slipped to
eighth position.
Newman enters the poll for the
second time this year in the tenth
spot.
Omega Psi Phi took advantage of
AFHO's loss as they moved up one
spot from fourth to third by virtue
of their ^4-42 victory over Alpha
Tau Omega and over previously
ranked Pi Kappa Phi 44-27.
Also moving up in the poll was
Maxcy. The number four team
showed signs of sluggishness in its
early wins but has regained some
of its predicted success with a 54-37
win over Bates.
In the number five position is
Kappa Alpha Psi. They entered
the poll the second week of the
season and have shown stppHv
improvement. Their latest win
came over Pi Kappa Alpha 60-22.
COLUMBIA HALL notched its
third victory of the season without
a defeat by claiming a 68-54
decision over Douglas. Columbia
