His wishes, if he had any, were simply irrelevant to our considerations. The interviews of the three candidates for the editorship and the deliberations of the Board lasted almost four hours. I have never been a member of a committee which operated with more care and concern. I can understand why some people disagree with the final decision of the Board. But I do denlore Mr. Kneorp's attempt to use the Board's decision to buttress his bitterness toward Dr. Holderman. Too many times, we overlook those people who put their time and energy into something worthwhile that students can benefit from. We need more people like Doug and those who worked with him , for those are the students who truly care and do the job, even if they aren't recognized.
