Afro-American Association
funds have temporarily been
frozen by the Student Allocation
Commission.
SUE ANN ROUGHTON, SAC
advisor, said she approved the
freezing of Afro's funds because
the association did not meet its
proposed annual budget.
The organization had agreed to
raise $8,169 to match $6,220 in
student activities funds.
Because of poor turnout last
month at Black Week activities,
the Afro-American Association is
$1,100 short of its financing
requirement.
The association earlier had to
revise ius ouugei wnen lis "Dawn
to Dusk" dance, with a predicted
profit of $2,100, only produced only
$513.

its budget to meet student activities

debt.
ITS FUNDS will be frozen until
the revenue overdrawn is returned.
If funds are not returned this
academic year, the money will be
taken out of the club's fall budget.

New regulations do not apply
to situations caused by circumstances
beyond the
student's control, the VA said.
Payments for courses

VA spokesmen said.
If a student withdraws from

VA payments will, in effect, be
