Jerry Curry of the department of
music will present a recital of
harpsichord music at 8 p.m. today
in Fraser Hall.
The program will consist of
music from the 17th and 18th
Centuries, including works by the
French composer Jean-Henry
d'Anglebert; five pieces from the
Fitzwilliam Virginal Book; three
Scarlatti sonatas; preludes and

on "Ah vous diraisje, Maman" by
Mozart.
A professor of music theory and
harpsichord, Curry received his
degree at the University of Iowa.
He has performed in the area in
solo recitals and with the USC,
Columbia and Charleston Orchestras.

Hie bookstore does give faculty
members a 10 per cent discount on
books bought at the bookstore, but,
according to Swanson, there has
never been a regulation for employe
discounts.
