USC's Junior Varsity football
team won its second game of the
season Monday, 38-22, over the
Citadel Junior Varsity at j
Charleston.
<
"I thought we played well
although we had some mistakes
both offensively and defensively,"
USC coach Larry New said. "We
fumbled three times close to the
goal line and that would have been
21 more points," he said. New said
the mistakes were expected since
the team did not practice together.
USC BUILT a 22-7 halftime lead
that was highlighted by Perry
Phillips 60 yard run of an interception
pass for a touchdown.
