The USC Amateur Radio Club
has a new station located on the
eighth floor of the Physical
Sciences Center, according to Ross
Amico, club president.
The need for a new station came
as a result of thefts in the summer
of 1974. The station was located in
the engineering building, Amico
said. An amplifier, transmitter and
receiver were stolen, and the
station closed until funds could be
obtained for new equipment. SAC

Amico said the new location is a
good one. The station is at a high
level and can be checked daily by
Amico to prevent other thefts.

Men on floors seven, eight and

up for any spaces not taken. But
few rooms were left and the men
were faced with the prospect of
having to find another place to live
next fall.
