"Pug" Rtavenel, a former candidate for governor, can retire his campaign debt of approximately $40,000, he plans to run again for public office, he said Wednesday-. in a meetmng with UJSC students, Ravenel would not indicate whether hie would seek the governorship or Strom Thurmond's U.S. Senate seat. Hie said that hie would wait until 1977 to decide, but seemed to favor the governorship by saying, "I like to get things done. I would tend to enjo more and feel more fulfilled in an executive role."
