USC donii in 3-0 soc By REX GALE Gameceek Sports Writer Before the start of yester day's 3-0 win over Western Carolina, USC Soccer Yank Albers asked his team for a good game. The soccer team aces a tough three game road trip in the next week, and with a number of injured starters, Albers wanted to see just that his team could do. Carolina dominated the game, keeping pressure on the Western Carolina goal for almost the entire game. At tempts by Western Carolina to penetrate the USC defense were continually stopped. Carolina scored their isf goal with 19:27 gone in the first half on a breakaway goal by John Rosier, his eight goal of the year. Tim Hank'nson set up Roisier with a long downfield pass that caught Rosier in full stride. Rosier outran the last defender and fired the ball into the left side of the net to give Carolina a 1-0 lead.
