Preseaso BY BILLY BAKER Sports Editor In its September issue Playboy has listed USC's Jeff Grantz among nine of the nation's collegiate quarterbacks it feels should earn All-America status before the conclusion of the 1975 football season. Grantz led USC to a 7-4 record his sophomore year but failed to live up to his pre-season publicity of last season when USC finished 4-7. Title IX prohibits discrimination by sex in any educational program that receives federal funds. The law went into effect July 21. Bob Peters, USC Trustee, said that Title IX was like any other Health, Education and Welfare issue. "As they com mence to implement it, it changes its meaning," Peters said. "Title IX can't insure equal funding for women's athletics, but it can insure equal opportunity for women to participate in athletics. "You can't expect to give non revenue producing sports equal funding with the sports that generate most of the money," Peters said.
