The agreement was announced jointly March 27 by USC president William H. Patterson and Ministro Ibere Gilson, president of the Brazilian Institute of Financial Executives (IBEF). Pres. Patterson said he was "particularly pleased that the increasing expertise of faculty members adept at multi-national business can be shared with our Latin American neighbors." Gilson said the agreement with USC was "a first step in an an nounced effort by the Brazilian government to increase the country's mastery of international business techniques." Charity ride A bike-a-thon will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. to raise money for the Easter seal Society foi Crippled Children and Adults o: South Carolina, Inc.
