according to Montgomery. "He
was calling up everybody to find
out who was responsible for the
amendment. Here he was just
finding out about $150,000 for a new
grad school that he knew nothing
about. I believe he was rather
surprised to find out a student was
responsible for the action."
The school will fill a serious gap
in the state's law enforcement
program according to Hudson. "A
mad was actually arrested aid
convicted because a polceman
couldn't tell the difference between
a drunk and an epileptic fit," said
Hudson.
Both Hudson and Montgemery
emphasize the fact that all these
projects were done while they were
still students. "There is no reason
to wait unti you graduate," says
Montgomery. "The practical
experience Is there and-so Is the
need. The kids ought to get in
volved now."
It is not known what the two will
be doing In Washington. According
to Montgomery and Hudson, It Is
even possible they may work with
some of the Watergate defendants.
