Music recital
s planned
Trombone instructor G.B. Lane
of the Department of Music will
present a recital at USC's Fraser
Hall on Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. The
public is invited to attend. .
The program will feature works
by Creston, Ralph Vaughan
Williams, Brown, Arnold and Ross.
Lane will be assisted by Janice
Hodges, a new member of the
faculty.
Lane, author of the "Concise
Daily Routing for Trombone,"
holds degrees from North Texas
State University and Kansas State
Teachers College.
He has performed with the
American Wind Symphony or
chestra in Pittsburgh, Pa., the
Austin (Texas) mphony and the
