Women-'s state
The USC women's basketball
team has announced its 1974-75
schedule which features 14 regular
season games and five tour
naments.
Seven of the Chicks games will
be home affairs and two will be
played in Carolina Colsieum prior
to the men's varsity
games, on Jan. 28 and Feb. 12.
The season opens on Dec. 2 but
the Chicks will not play at home
before Jan. 14 against Francis
Marion, an opponent USC could
face as many as four times this
birief season as they meet in two tour
naments.
The home schelule is as follows:
Jan. 14 versus Francis Marion at 7
p.m.; Jan 16 versus S.C. State at 7
p.m.; Jan 20 versus Lander at 7

Players released
Five members ot last year's
Gamecock basketball squad are no
longer active members of the team
and will no longer dress out for
games.
Tommy Cox is currently
hospitalized and is at least tem
porarily off the squad. Jim
Clements left the team to devote
more time to his pred-med studies.
George Felton, Eddie Lynch
and Jack George also have ceased
practicing with the team, leaving
Carolina with a 12-man roster.

Basketball tickets
Ticket information has beer
released on both the Carolina
Classic Basketball tournament and
the annual preseason intra-squad
game, and students must pay to
attend both.
Applications are now being
accepted for the Dec. 20 and 21
tournament in Carolina Coliseum,
on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Nov. 25 intra-squad game
