An Picked Ali Belated congratulations to Grady Wallace and Lee Collins for the honors they so deservingly won for their play during the 1955-56 basketball season. Wallace made the Atlantic Coast conference All-Star team, the All State five, and had the distinction of being mentioned as one of N.C. State's most respected opponents. Now as far as basketball goes, the Mare Creek kid is in pretty elite company, yessir! Collins joins Wallace along with Furman's Darrell Floyd, and Clemson's Vince Yockel and Bill Yarborough on the first annual all state club which was selected by the South Carolina Association of Sports Writers. Walace lead the Gamecocks in scoring while Collins was tops in the rebounding department and second high in scoring.
