collect money for the "Brothers

money as possible. Business firms
will also' be contacted for con

sorority collecting the most money
will be awarded a plaque as out

its founder, Clay Normand.
Normand founded the organization
in August of 1969 when he was a
graduate student at USC.
Normand said the organization
depends entirley upon the volun

tributions to exist. He said the
organization is counting on the
Greek Week projects to get it back
on its feet again financially.
Brothers and Sisters has 340
volunteer workers, most of which
are university students and these
workers organize group meetings
and spend time with 560 un
derprivileged children, according
to Normand. Brothers and Sisters
has organized its own boy and girl
scout troups; cooking, dancing and
sewing groups for girls and drama
groups for everyone. Normand
said the emphasis is on giving the
underprivileded children
something constructive to do and
to get to them before they become
involved in juvenile delinquency.
