"This country, with its in

who inhabit it. Whenever they shall
grow weary of the existing
Government, they can exercise
their constitutional right of
amending it, or their revolutionary
right to dismember or overthrow
it"
Abraham Lincoln
We, the American people, still
have the chance to salvage our
badly eroded freedoms and rights
without resorting to revolution.
But time is short!
From the evidence that has
already come to light, it is obvious
that Mr. Nixon's philosophy of
government has within it precious
little respect for justice,freedom
and honesty. In the area of student
protests against the war, the issues
raised by the students were
ignored and the students them
selves harassed, intimidated, and,
in too many cases, beaten, shot,
and killed.
Campaign irregularities
designed to insure a Republican
victory, coupled with the stifling of
the voice of the people, present us
an attempt to totally destroy or
discredit all dissenting voices.
Those students who feel that Nixon
is "dead" politically should
remember that Hitler was once
discredited and imprisoned, but

came back to create a ruthless
dictatorship that existed on in
tolerance and cruelty.
Consider, if you will, some of the
excesses of the Nixon Ad
ministration which are indicative
of a totalitarian political
philosophy:
1) The sweeping under the rug of
the Kent State massacre where an
FBI spy allegedly fired the shots,
attributed to students, which led to

a coldblooded massacre.
2) The secret, and illegal,
bombing of Cambodia.
3) The establishment of the
"Plumbers", a secret domestic
spy network which used CIA men
and materials against citizens.
4) Campaign sabotage
deliberate subversion of the
electoral process to insure a
Republican victory.
5) Campaign fund irregularities-1
-contributions by major companies,
in exchange for reciprocal political
favors by the Nixon Ad
ministration (ITT, milk fund, graini
deal, oil crisis, etc.).
6) Obstruction of justice: the
attempted bribery of Judge Byrne
in the Ellsburg Trial; the ex
tepsive wiretapping of political
opponents and the press; the
destruction and alteration of
various subpoenaed evidence for
which Mr. Nixon must be held
responsible.
7) Nixon's fraudulent tax
returns; many of you probably
paid more taxes than Mr. Nixon
last year.
8) Consider the personality
traits that must have led Mr. Nixon
to surround himself with men of
such poor calibre: : Liddy,
Chotiner, Colson, McCord,
Ehrlichman, Haldeman, Kalm
bach, Kissinger, Kleindeinst,
Strachan, to mention a few,--either
Mr. Nixon is incredibly corrupt or
incredibly inept.
9) Consider yourself. Space has
permitted the listing of only a few
of the activities undertaken by the
Nixon Regime.
