Smith, a junior in electrical
engineering, says he would like to
see that the students "get full in
formation on what is really hap
pening at Carolina. not the
watered-down version." Part of
his platform is to abolish
preferential treatment for SGA
officials. "I'd like to see SGA off
its pedestal." claims Smith. Two
other major issues, according to
him, are university governance
and the faulty athletic ticket
distribution system. Smith said his
campaign costs will run about $75.
