Kohn, speaking as part of the University of South Carolina's Prison Awareness Week, said one of the main problems of delinquent rd:abilitation is that many kids in trouble need an adult's help to get them interested in other activities which would deter their in volvement in crime. Speaking on the various programs of rehabilitating criminals, Kohn cited the fact that while many people are afraid of the juvenile delinquents, the juveniles were just as mistrustful of them. Kohn said the kids get into trouble because they are largely ignored by parents who are too tired to take an interest or not interested at all.
