Parachutists Win Awards The USC Sport Parachute Club brought home four trophies after participati.ig in a competition meet Oct. 6-7 in Charlotte. The club sent 9 jumpers to participate in the meet. Wes Smith won 1st place ac- Vw curacy in the novice high per formance canopy division. In the novice low performance canopy division Rut McGhee placed 2nd and Tom Webb took third. .Jimmy Mintz, club president, brought home the first place trophy in intermediate style. About 100 competitors from North and South Carolina entered the meet. There are two more meets scheduled for 1973 which USC plans to attend. Girl's Volleyball USC's Girl's Volleyball team engages in two matches this week.
