Law Center on Main Street is completely finished this
fall. A new Health Center adjoining the Russell House
will provide grreatly improved and expanded medical
services ;4 hours a day, and even our historic Horseshoe
will be getting a new look with an ambitious restoration
program scheduled to begin the year.
Beyond the academic and physical growth, the
University has experienced a vibrant expansion of
services available for the many hours a student spends
outside the classroom. Residence life coordinators for
the dorm areas plan special interest programs for
evenings and weekends; a variety of clubs for all hob
bies and intellectual bents are organizing for the year;
and sports are as near as the intramural fields with
tennis courts and grassy areas for games with your
schoolmates.
In addition, a counseling service operated by com
petent professionals is ready to help with any ad
justment or personal problems you might have. A 24
hour hot line, minority student advisment, legal aid
clinic, psychological service center and a University
ombudman are a few of the dozen services maintained
by the counseling center.
