"Parking is still a problem.
The idea of car pooling is not
working too well. The
student's parking committee
suggested parking spaces be
provided for off-campus
students only but that was
rejected," McKinney said.
"The off-campus students need
parking spaces close by. They
waste too much time looking
for a parking space.''
McKinney feels that
everything is geared toward
on-campus students and not
off-campus. The on-campus
students havce a tremendous
staff while the 67 per -cent of
USC students who live off
campus have only one
assistant dean.
She said that she doubts
serious attempts are being
made to correct the problem
except for the one assistant
dean who is working
"desperately" but has very
little staff help.
