Soccer Prom
Interest of Ca
Among the objectives of the Carolina Soccer
Club is the promotion of soccer in the Columbia
area. To support this the club has been visiting
elementary and middle schools over the month
of March putting on soccer demonstrations.
Assistant Coach Yank Albers, Club Presi
dent, Kenneth McCord and team goalkeeper
Ken Jefferson have demonstrated soccer skills
to the youngsters.
The purpose is to create an interest in the

Columbia YMCA Youth Soccer League.
The league registration ends March 31st.
Boys can register by calling or visiting the
YMCA or by attending a soccer clinic that will
take place on March 31st at the State Fairg
rounds parking area, from one to four o'clock.
The registration fee is $7.50 and players do *
not have to be memnbers of the YMCA. For more
