The Oratorio Choir nationally known chorus group under
the direction of Arpad Darzas (above), will preform a Lenten
Service Concert at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church 8 p.m.
on Sunday, March 11. Among the featured works will be
Dubois' "Seven Last Words of Christ."
Montoya Plays
Artist Series
Flamenco wizard, Carlos Mon
toya, will appear 8 p.m. Thursday
in Township Auditorium.
A Spanish Gypsy, Montoya is the
most recorded Flamenco artist in
history and has performed over the
free world. He is sponsored by the
Artist Series.
Montoya is scheduled to meet 1/
with the USC Spanish Club Thur
sday at 4:30 p.m. for a reception.
Tickets for the performance are
still available at the Russell House
Ticket Office and at the door. They
are free to USC students and faculty
with ID's. Non-USC student tickets
are $2 and general public is $3 and
$5. The audience is advised to come
early for good seats because all tic
kets are general admission.

Mass transportation on
and around campus will be
studied with the view of
providing a mass transit
system scaled for the size
of the campus because of
a $33,000 grant from the
U.S. Department of Tran
sportation (DOT), accord
ing to Harold C. Brunton,
vice president for business
affairs.
"In the past, we have
tried to attack only one part
of the problem, Brunton
said. "Now with the grant
from DOT and the study
being conducted by Wilbur
Smith and associates, we
are finally attacking
the whole problem."
All possibilities from
computerized rail systems
to slow-moving minibuses
will be considered as solu
tions to the conflict
between pedestrians and
automobiles and the park
ing facilities.
