A new course teaching the culture of the
Weimar Republic through films of the period
will be offered spring semester.
The course, German 398, will be taught in
English by James Franklin of the German
Dept. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2 p.m.
"On Tuesday I plan to show the film and have
a short discussion afterwards and Thursdays
will be used for discussion of the text. Profes
