Not for a dime TO THE EDITOR: Saturday night at the Campus Club on Main and College Streets there was a bit of distur bance outside. Why? For one thing, somebody was grabbed, frisked and thrown into a patrol car by uniformed police, in shorter words - busted. Yeh, you know, and I know, that this happens every day. One of these uniformed policemen permitted himself to stand guard (he might have just been hanging out) outside the Club. Many wondered why he had to be there, many did not want to guess, and most didn't particularly enjoy his presence. But we all know how it is. His given reason for being there was to keep out of the Bur ger King parking lot, non Burger King customers, or as I will state it, Campus Club enjoyers. And he was doing a fine job in ordering his purpose around. To continue here, a question must be asked - "Are not the large majority of nightly Bur ger King customers, those who ad ing e way r yearly suicide march into President David Spinazzolo students in blockading Green ire: inadequate planning and i the traffic and parking prob arust pay $30 a year to park iing, because some dorms do e and disruption in McBride instruction, and, as he says, ministration is irresponsible emands. And refusing to try to solve them will only lead -Voice have spent or plan to spend some time at the Campus Club?" I will answer that ques tion with a solid "yes." It just seems absurd that Burger King management should have a policeman stand outside the Campus Club to order their own customers out of thier lot. If Burger King does not want Campus Club cars in their park ing lot (which is reasonable) then fine, there is a Hardee's across the street that would probably love the business; not that I would eat there (I don't think I could), but I am certain that under the present circum stances, I wouldn't buy a Whopper for a dime.
