"So, we decided to run the ball
and get some roll-out passing into
our game. Grossman is that type of
quarterback, he can do things our
other quarterbacks can't do. We
planned to give Dobby a shot early
and he did exactly what we thought
he would do, he's just a heck of a
leader," explained the USC
mentor.

"Our running game was going
great tonight and I was getting
great protection from the line,"
commented Grossman, on his
passing performance. "It was just
a matter of giving a good fake to
the running back to pull the
Linebackers up. The passes weren't
real sharp but Mike executed his
patterns well and made some fine
catches."
Grossman then commented on
what has been a miserable three
weeks for the Gamecocks. "The
last three weeks have been tough,
but in a way it's been a good thing,
it has brought the team closer
together. We have a good team
here and we are just starting to put
things together."
