"Everything at this univer
sity is behind. We're short on
manpower and time and the
University has several top
priorities, one of which is light
ing," Harold Brunton, vice
president of business affairs,
said.
Last year Brunton said that
getting the money was the main
problem in installing the new
lighting system. Now "the
funds have been budgeted out
of capital funds, and I don't
have the slightest idea as to
when the lights will be instal
led," Brunto said.
"The business school is six
months late, the Student Health
Center is nine months to a year
late. We're trying to absorb $50
million worth of construction
and its hard to put a top priority
on anything," he said.
"A problem I consider more
important than lighting right
now is the parking situation.

Brunton said that the new
Business Administration school
will have new lights in about
two weeks, lighting up that part
of College street. "Although

"We have two engineering
firms to design new campus
lighting. One is an engineering
firm and the other architec
tural. There's a double problem
involved here, because walkers
need more lights, but people in
the dorms don't want the lights
shining in their windows,"
Brunton said.

year the whole pace of the uni

Brunton said.
