President David Spinazzolo
expressed regret Wednesday
that five members of the
t government resigned.
He said he felt student
government's ineffec
tiveness resulted from a lack
of student interest.
"I have said time and time
again our power is in our
numbers and until this is
realized, student causes and
student's rights on this

Tim McConnell, vice
president said, "They (five
former officials) said they
can't work within the
system, but I don't think they
can work on the outside
either.
"When you are tying to
initiate changes you must
have some kind of govern
mental structure. Our
system might not be the best
system," McConnell said.
"But I feel that we have
