IFC hea BY CHER COPE "It's always been a dream to the fraternity men to get out from under the nose of the University. Until the construction started, we were quite content. But now we feel that the administration is trying to run us off campus," says William Hubbard, president of the Inter Fraternity Council. The construction that the fraternity men feel is driving them off campus is the new ad dition to the undergraduate library, situated in the front yard of fraternity row. Besides making their life unpleasant with noise and constant dust, he says, the fraternities feel confused and dismayed as to why they were not consulted about the construction. "We weren't even advised of the extent of the addition plans to the library. If we had been, we probably could have been off campus by now," says Hubbard. "We don't understand why the addition to the library had to be built backwards, instead of forewards into the reflection pool. By building it back, they are taking away one of the only places left where the students could go to relax and enjoy the trees. Now there's only the horseshoe." Steve Lynn, a fraternity man and adviser to David Spinazzolo, president of the student body, adds, "They just were not thinking of students.
