nouncement, but none was forthcoming.
Rose then Instructed me to take a five-dollar
bill from my wallet and place it in my right
hand. My hand appeared much more pleasing
to her prophetic look once the currency was
within its grasp.
She took the money from my hand and waved
it through the air, forming an imaginery cross
and wishing me peace, happiness, love and
money forever. She then instructed me to keep
my reading to myself.
The other woman was still enjoying her sleep
as I left, and the flies had returned to their
nesting place on the porch, only to be disturbed
again.
And Rose, her rewards safely tucked away,
returned to the porch for more meditation.
