Shawn Weekend performers Several concerts are planned for this weekend. At 1 p.m. Saturday there will be a blanket concert on the intramural field and at 7 p.m. Nils Lofgren and Grin, (upper right), will perform. Nils Lofgren and Grin were discovered last year by Neil Young at the Cellar Door in Washington, D.C. Shawn Phillips, (upper left), whose sound has been called "'Good music for the soul," will perform at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Phillips has spent most of his life traveling and is interested in the effect of sound when it is pushed to the limit of human hearing either very low or very high. At 8 p.m. Sunday The Byrds will appear in con cert in the Carolina Coliseum. Concerts this weekend are free except for The Byrds.
