Ms. Cochrane is a native of
Washington, D.C. She holds
degrees from the University of
Georgia and Tulane. She has
special interest and abilities in
family planning, public health,
economic development, and
population theory.

"Diamonds will be the topic of a
lecture Thursday, Feb. 10 at USC's
Department of Geology to be given
by a representative of the N. W.
Ayer Co.
Anita Viksne will lecture at 3:15
p.m. in Room 112 of USC's LeConte
College. The public is invited.
The presentation will include
filmstrips, samples and other
illustrations of mining, develop
ment and the popular use of
diamonds.
'TWELFTH NIGHT'
"Twelfth Night," considered to
be Shakespeare's greatest comic
achievement, will be performed at
8 p.m. Thursday at the Township
Auditorium.
The performance will begin at
