Shooting up is Part of
the heroin addict's
daily routine. These
photographs taken by
Tom Price are posed,
but very realistically
show the process of
shooting up. The
string, the spoon, the
candle, the
hypodermic needle are
standard equipment.
The user must find a
vein, usually in his
arm, in which to inject
the smack. For long
term addicts this
sometimes is not easy
as the story about 1he
junkies on pages six
and seven relate.
Although, heroin is not
hie main drug problem
yn campus, it is
probably the most
serious narcotic habit. |
