students at a Freshmen
Conference near York, S.C.
The conference has been
designed as a time of minimum
information-giving on the part
of administrators, faculty
members and deans, for
maximum feedback from
freshmen, Timothy McConnell,
student government secretary
for freshman affairs said.
"There will be periods for
the major divisions of the
University to present their
specific programs as they
relate to freshmen," Mc
Connell said.
"These presentations will be
coupled with longer, more
intense rap sessions for
discussion of the areas of
